Margaret Havens Neal, M.D.
is a pathologist with Ketchum, Wood & Burgert Pathology Associates. Dr. Neal attended West
Virginia University Medical School and is board certified in Anatomical Pathology and
Clinical Pathology. She served her residency at George Washington University with a
fellowship at George Washington University in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology. Dr.
Neal's special interests are in Gynecologic Pathology and Cytopathology. Dr. Neal has
contributed numerous articles and is a member of the CAP, AMA, ASCP, Florida Medical
Association, Florida Society of Pathologists, Capital Medical Society, and American Society
of Cytopatholgy. She has been on and remains active on multiple CAP committees since 1998,
including Cytopatholgy Resource Committee, Member Benefits Committee, Path PAC, and
Economic Affairs Committee. She has served as CPT alternate advisor and AMA alternate
delegate for the American Society of Cytopathology. She also currently serves as RUC
advisor for the American Society of Cytopathology, as secretary of the Florida Society of
Pathologists, and as a Florida delegate to the CAP House of Delegates.
