For more than half a century Ketchum, Wood & Burgert Pathology Associates has been providing independent pathology laboratory services to
the Florida Panhandle. Founded in 1949, the group has grown to twelve pathologists and provides laboratory
cytology and surgical pathology diagnostics for the medical community. The laboratory meets all federal and
State of Florida licensure requirements and is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
Additionally, our pathologists are licensed in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
Our technical staff works to insure a rapid turnaround time and accurate results which helps the physicians
we assist in the care and treatment of their patients. Ketchum, Wood & Burgert Pathology Associates has built its reputation on quality and
remains Tallahassee's premium independent laboratory.

All pathologists in the group have specialty board certification. Dr. Nola Munasifi and Dr. Stephen Sarbeck have subspecialty board certification in
Cytopathology. Dr. David Stewart and Dr. Marcus Fisher are board certified in Dermatopathology
. Also, Dr. John Mahoney, Dr. David Stewart, Dr. Stephen Sgan, Dr. Lisa Flannagan and Dr. Anthony Clark are board certified in Forensic Pathology.

Ketchum, Wood & Burgert Pathology Associates provides medical direction and consultation for Southeastern Community Blood Center,
Southern Medical Group, Tallahassee Primary Care Associates and laboratories in surrounding hospitals. These hospitals are located
in Madison, Perry, Chattahoochee, Marianna and Tallahassee. The group serves, by
designation of the Governor's office, as Medical Examiners for District 2, a seven county area of the Florida Panhandle.
Dr. David Stewart has been appointed as Chief Medical Examiner and the remaining pathologists as
Associate Medical Examiners.

various societies and associations. These include the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, American Medical
Association, International Academy of Pathologists, National and Florida Association of Medical Examiners, Florida Medical
Association, as well as president of the College of American Pathologists, presidents of the Florida Society of
Pathologists and presidents of Capital Medical Society.
